Taking Refuge In Practice:  an evening of self-care & community

Stress can become palpable in our bodies and begin to ripple into all aspects of our lives when the nervous system activation is constant. Find refuge in Sangha for 2 luxurious hours of calm and tranquility. Get away from the hustle of daily life, and take some time for yourself.

Join Alex, Amy and Bibi for an evening dedicated to radical calm and restoration. During a time of polarization and division, we will come together to remember our connection with one another and blend a few essential practices to get our body, mind, and heart to a state of tranquility and compassion.

This workshop will infuse yin yoga, pranayama, mantra meditation, sound therapy, reiki, and yoga nidra to bring the nervous system into regulation.

Find refuge in community at the Shala, and quiet the noise coming from all directions. We will gather to practice these techniques for centering and presencing, and you will walk away with the tools to apply what we learn to everyday life. The practices offered are dedicated to help us regain some calm and ease,  relax the nervous system, and protect ourselves from the deluge of information coming at us.
